Nelson Osure Rogo sat for Cambridge School Certficate in the year 1963 and later attended Siriba College where he graduated with a Diploma in Animal Science in the year 1965. He began his career with the Kenya Government in the Ministry of Agriculture where he worked as a Livestock Officer till 1978. He thereafter joined the Private Sector in the Insurance Industry where he worked as a Field Sales Manager and then rose to the position of Assistant General Sales Manager of Cannon Assurance. He has attended various Management Courses both in the UK and France. Upon retirement in 2009 he became the Board Chairman of Sagam Community Hospital to date. He is also sits on the Board of Rabuor Sinaga Community Fund, a local Microfinance Organization.
