This past week, Sagam Community Hospital (SCH) completed another successful Ketamine Week. SCH trained three new providers from Sagam, a clinical officer, medical officer intern, and senior nurse. Twelve procedures, related to gynaecology and obstetrics, were done with no adverse event.

Each provider was able to administer ketamine with supervision and then, on their own multiple times. At Sagam, we strive to teach all of our medically trained to staff to administer ketamine. We want to give a warm thank you to all of those involved in ketamine week: administrators, providers, trainers, surgeons, and our partners at Massachusetts General Hospital. We look forward to next month’s Ketamine Week!
