On February 10th, staff at Sagam Community Hospital attended a weekly Continuing Medical Education (CME) session lead by visiting Emergency Medicine doctor, Dr. Hiren Patel. CMEs are an integral part of ensuring staff are up to date on the most current medical topics and information. Weekly CMEs cover topics ranging from identifying and treating various disease processes, to interpreting ultrasound and EKG findings. This session, at the conclusion of the lecture, staff were challenged with a scavenger hunt to locate new pediatric equipment in the Emergency Department. Dr. Hiren Patel and Dr. Karla Fredricks organized and lead the scavenger hunt. Below are some photos of the activity:
