Sagam Community Hospital (SCH) was honored with a visit from Dr. Dan Kiage and his wife Mrs. Jacqueline Kiage from the Innovation Eye Centre in Kisii. The Innovation Eye Centre, in collaboration with Fiat Lux Foundation, is dedicated to improving the lives of people with visual impairment. The Centre provides highly subsidized vision restoring operations ensuring that everyone with a treatable eye problem has access to eye services.logoSCH is excited about a possible partnership with the Eye Centre in a number of capacities including expanding SCH’s eye care capabilities by establishing a well-functioning eye clinic.

SCH is also exploring opportunities for Dr. Kiage to facilitate monthly eye clinics at Sagam as well as the opportunity to welcome Dr. Kiage as an Honorary Faculty under our FEM Programme. SCH and the Innovation Eye Centre is tentatively planning an Eye Camp for early May at Sagam! Check back for more details in the coming weeks.
