The Sagam team took a break from travelling to Mumias and conducted an outreach at Sidindi, in the heart of the bustling market. It was only a quick 45-minute drive from Sagam. Although this outreach was small in volume, its impact on the residents was effective and valuable. As in most outreaches, Sagam’s team checked blood pressure, HIV status, conducted family planning services, and screened for cervical cancer.
We want to thank M-tiba for always supporting us in our ventures to rural communities and Jhpiego for donating a portable container where patient screening was held. Futhermore, there were additional supplies left from last week’s outreach and Sagam would like to thank Kenton’s, once more, for their splendid donation of medication.
We’ll keep you posted for our next outreach.
