Allie Dickson and her team of helpers completed the mural in SCH’s paediatric ward last night. What began as a one-woman job, quickly turned into a full team effort as staff members throughout the hospital stopped by to help paint and to bid farewell to our MGH Coordinator.
Children in our paediatric ward can now enjoy a full wildlife scene along with interactive puzzles and games. The painting even spread to a second wall where staff members enjoyed creating colorful butterflies and other works of art. This hospital is full of artists!
The paint used for this masterpiece was generously donated by Allie Dickson and Dickson family from Canada. Allie has been with SCH for about a year and has contributed enormously to both the operations of the hospital and the well-being of our staff. We are surely sad to see her go and hope she returns for a visit sometime soon! Best of luck, Allie!
