Sagam Community Hospital is currently constructing and outfitting two additional, state-of-the-art operating theaters to better serve the needs of the community.  Recently, a lot has been accomplished with the construction of the new operating theaters. Piles have been placed at the scrubbing area and the stairs upstairs. Lighting points have been done and we will soon have a functioning main operating light. The most exciting addition to the theaters, however, is the completion of the oxygen piping installed by a team from the Center for Public Health and Development (CPHD). These pipes will supply oxygen to patients in surgery, and will help Sagam become a surgical center of excellence in the region.
We are grateful to the CPHD team for their great work and look forward to a continued partnership. IMG_1719
