Another week at SCH means we held another eventful outreach. This time we headed to Kachola, where the SCH outreach team set up at Rawa ACK Church.

This week we were joined by a team from Global Good Fund – Global Health Technologies, that came to observe our outreach team’s use of the Mobile ODT device in cervical cancer screening. We thank Ms. Noni Gachuhi and Mr. Matt Horning for their visit as well as Ms. Rose Ndinda of Mobile ODT for arranging for their visit.

We were able to screen 15 patients for cervical cancer, provide family planning to 22 patients (including short-term methods, LARC removal and LARC insertion), blood pressure monitoring for 83 patients, provide child welfare services to 12 paediatric patients and HTC counseling to 42 patients. In addition, we provided forums on enrolling in NHIF and the M-TIBA platform.

We are grateful to our outreach team for their hard work and the services they are offering to members of our community.
