Sagam Community Hospital (SCH) traveled to Wagai Primary School for community outreach, approximately 45 minutes from Sagam. The outreach was a major success in part because of our partnership with an optometrist and an otolaryngology, an ear, nose and throat specialist. SCH had a total of 321 community members register for services offered.

There were a total of 147 community members that participated in blood pressure testing and 25 community members that participated in HIV testing and counseling. Cervical cancer screening was also available and 15 patients were screened. Infants and children under five were administered vitamin A. In addition, 20 patients were seen by a Clinical Officer for a wide range of health inquiries.

We would like to thank all of the staff members at SCH for making weekly community outreaches possible. We would also like to thank our partners at KMET, CHAK, M-tiba, and Jhpiego for their continued support. Lastly SCH thanks Wagai Primary School for hosting us.
